Home 200k Route Sheet 200k Route Map Entry Form Hill Country Randonneurs Austin, Texas

UPDATE:   The route is posted. The ride is out to Lockhart then San Marcos and back. It is fairly flat.
The map is off slightly because the software did not have First Street south of Slaughter, so ignore that portion,
the route sheet is correct.

Date: December 1, 2007

Start time: 7:00 am

Starting location: 3108 Creeks Edge Pkwy, Austin, TX 78733

In the true spirit of randonnering, this brevet is a lightly supported ride.
The control will be staffed, and there is a mini-mart in case your needs go beyond
what will be provided.  Some of these roads are remote, so make sure you can carry enough
food and water for 2 hours of riding.  SAG support will be limited so make
sure to bring spare tubes and tools for light repairs you may need along the way.

The rider check-in will be open from 6:30-8:00am.   You must have a helmet to start.

The course is mostly flat with some rollers, so there is not a lot of climbing, short distance
between controls, great for beginners.

We are always in need of volunteers to provide SAG support and to staff controls (if we
get enough volunteers).   If you or anyone you know would like to volunteer, please send
an email to wgdunlap@aol.com.
