UPDATE: The route is posted. The ride is out to Lockhart then San Marcos and back. It is fairly flat.
Date: September 14, 2008
Start time: 6:00 am
Starting location:
In the true spirit of randonnering, this brevet is a lightly supported ride.
The control will probably not be staffed, but there is a mini-mart. Although the
route is still being planned, there may be some remote areas, so make sure you can carry enough
food and water for 2 hours of riding. SAG support will be limited so make
sure to bring spare tubes and tools for light repairs you may need along the way.
The rider check-in will be open from 5:30-7:00am. You must have a helmet to start.
We are always in need of volunteers to provide SAG support and to staff controls (if we
get enough volunteers). If you or anyone you know would like to volunteer, please send
an email to wgdunlap@aol.com.
